A marijuana delivery startup company Eaze is currently issuing medical marijuana cards through your smartphone.
The competition Meadow stated to Uber or a doctor, however Eaze wants to be the first marijuana delivery startup which is able to hand out legal marijuana cards through the service of EazeMD, its new video phone conference service “You need to actually send a driver to deliver consumer goods, but there’s no reason you should have to actually dispatch a doctor and it really just streamlines the process,” founder Keith McCarty stated.
Indeed, it does. California state law has typically required people who want to obtain a state issue marijuana card to travel to a designated clinic, pay $100 or more and then wait a few days for their card to arrive.
EazeMD substitutes that system with technology that locates the next available weed doctor from a third party service.
EazeMD as well has lowered the expense to $25 and reduced the time it takes to minutes so people without a cannabis card, yet “in need of medicine” at, say, a friends house over the weekend around 11 at night, you can call a selection of available doctors on EazeMD and start talking.
EazeMD issues the new card electronically to the “patients” smartphone and then moves them to the Eaze system where they can make a selection and obtain medical marijuana catered right to their given location in less than 15 minutes according to McCarty.
