Acreage announced its first-quarter 2021 results with consolidated revenue of $38.4 million an increase of 58% compared to Q1 2020. Additionally, the company’s same-store sales grew 16% making the ninth consecutive quarter of double-digit same-store sales growth.  Although revenue grew the company had a net loss in the first quarter of $7.8 million an improvement compared to the net loss of $172 million in Q1 of 2020. Currently, Acreage is focusing on improving profitability, controlling costs, and accelerating organic growth. The company has a partnership and a possible acquisition with Canadian giant Canopy Growth Corporation (NASDAQ:CGC).
