There’s no easy way to sum up former NFL standout Randy Moss. He was one of the greatest wide receivers ever and a big part of the New England Patriots’ undefeated regular season in 2007, a sure-fire Hall of Famer who dominated on the field. Former Ravens lineman, Eugene Monroe, has urged the NFL should study the benefits and drawbacks of medical marijuana, and Cowboys quarterback Jake Plummer took Cowboys owner Jerry Jones to task for his stance on the matter. In an interview, Moss summed up his feelings on marijuana and the NFL in one statement. When asked about NFL and its stance on marijuana, Moss responded by saying: “I think the NFL just needs to loosen up the rules and let everybody live.”

Moss spoke about rookie Laremy Tunsil, who watched in horror as a video appeared to show the Ole Miss standout smoking an unidentifiable substance out a gas-mask pipe leaked just before the 2016 NFL Draft. Tunsil tumbled off the charts as a result, from his original projection as a potential top-three pick before landing with the Miami Dolphins at No. 13. When asked if the video reflected a possibility of “character issues” with Tunsil, Moss spoke emphatically in his response. While it is hard to imagine a story topping the charts over Tunsil last year, Moss is right in saying that every year brings a new show-stopping that manages to leave all of us scratching our heads. Like that one time former NFL running back, Ricky Williams came forward with wanting to open a marijuana-themed gym in San Francisco.
