American Green Extends Lease and Begins Modification of Its 12,000 Square Foot Cannabis Cultivation and Extraction Facility in Phoenix for Its Joint Venture Client, Natural Herbal Remedies

TEMPE, AZ–(Marketwired – Nov 17, 2015) – American Green, Inc. (OTC PINK: ERBB) executes its first (of four) five-year lease options on property near downtown Phoenix to begin designing and modifying the space into an MMJ cultivation facility for its joint venture client, Natural Herbal Remedies.

The City of Phoenix recently granted American Green a variance on the property near downtown Phoenix that will become the first cultivation and extraction facility for Natural Herbal Remedies. The 15-day appeal window following the variance approval has closed with no objections from the facility’s neighbors or local neighborhood associations, allowing the project to continue forward.

“Now that the approval of our use is final, we were able to sign the lease extension on the building and get things moving. Demolition of the current interior layout will begin immediately,” American Green COO Jonathan Miller stated. “Along with NHR, we have begun the process of designing the build out of the facility. Once we clean out and sanitize the interior, our professionals will fine tune the design to create a premier facility that optimizes this space. This all will help the team at NHR better serve Arizona’s medical marijuana patients.”

“American Green has been leasing this space for nearly a year preparing for this project. I was happy to help them extend the lease so they can turn their vision into the reality of a state-of-the-art facility,” says Doug Arfa, an independent commercial real estate broker who practices in the cannabis sector.

American Green will design an advanced specialty cultivation and extraction facility accommodating the needs specified by the Natural Herbal Remedies team. Cultivation will feature select, premium sativa, indica, and high CBD strains. Extraction techniques will be based on patient needs and proven technologies.

“Our goal is to expand upon our success in working with patients and caregivers in Arizona. Having a large, state-of-the-art cultivation and extraction facility that focuses on our needs will allow us to reach more patients with more care solutions,” stated Sheelah Golliglee, NHR’s dispensary manager.
