The marijuana industry has been working toward full legalization across North America and select parts of the world. In that time, we have seen the market become extremely friendly not only toward investors but toward the consumers who support it. In the past year or so, the industry has seen a large amount of propensity toward the future due to not only the amount of innovation going on but the amount of products being put onto the open market as well. The hopes are high that we can continue on this hot streak as we move across the coming months and beyond.

Leafbuyer Technologies, Inc. (LBUY) is one of the most prominent online spaces for everything from where the nearest dispensary is to what products are at a given location. The company has been working to bring their platform up to speed so that they can display only the most important information available. Leafbuyer Technologies has also been working to up the amount of loyalty programs that they offer which has helped to boost customer acquisition as well as customer retention. Because of this, Leafbuyer Technologies has shown the world that they have an extremely large amount of potential moving forward.

The company recently announced that they have embarked on a redesign of the whole website so that they can ensure congruency across all the platforms that they utilize. The official release of the new site is scheduled for some time toward the latter half of May, but it will include many new features. Some of these include enhanced mapping, search functionality, integration for their newest offerings, order ahead and delivery and more. All of this should help to shoot them to the top of this side of the space.

Michael Gorner, CTO of Leafbuyer Technologies stated that “Our last major website overhaul took place 18 months ago. Now, with the development of our texting and loyalty solution Leafbuyer Loyalty, the acquisition of the Greenlight order-ahead platform, and the launch of delivery within the Greenlight app, the website redesign brings everything together.”

The CEO of Leafbuyer Technologies, Kurt Rossner also added that “the new functionality will make it easier than ever for cannabis consumers to find and interact with Leafbuyer’s dispensary and product clients and their offerings.” All in all, Leafbuyer remains one of the most interesting companies to keep a close eye on throughout the near future.

Canopy Growth Corp. (NYSE:CGC) is one of the largest growers of marijuana in the whole of the industry. The company is also considered to be the largest marijuana stock in the world. Only a few months ago, they received a $4 billion investment from the producer of many popular beverages, Constellation Brands.

With this money, they have embarked on producing a new range of cannabis-infused beverages that should see a lot of popularity once the legislative measures pan out. With a large amount of free cash, there’s no telling where Canopy Growth could go in the coming months.
