Company Subsidiary, Major Hemp, Awarded Contract to Fulfill Large Hemp Oil Project for U.S. Based Manufacturer of Natural ProductsSipp Industries, Inc. Processing has begun and will be delivered quarterly starting this month.
Sipp Industries subsidiary, Major Hemp, secured this prominent North American manufacturer of hemp-based food products through a competitive sourcing and bidding process. Sipp Industries provided all required organic certifications, lot certificate of analysis, and related documents which was crucial in the vendor decision making process. Over the course of 2016 and beyond this newly signed customer will purchase in excess of 4,000 gallons of organic cold-pressed hemp oil annually. Growth and demand is expected to increase as products expand into larger retail stores and grocery chains.
Hemp imports continue to rise and total hemp product sales in the U.S. are expected to exceed $600M in 2016. Hemp seeds and hemp oil continue to be a popular ingredient in many trending organic, vegan and gluten-free diets, products and supplements.
