NTRR Joint Venture Begins Commercial Sales of Revolutionary Indoor Growing System
TAMPA, Fla.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–
Neutra Corp. (NTRR) announced today that its joint venture partner, Vertigo Technologies, Inc., sold its first self-contained, indoor horticulture system to a California cultivator.
The first unit sold is a 30-ft. blooming systemcrafted from a shipping container and featuring a 1000-watt Gavita light fixture, six custom planting trays, a four-ton split A/C unit, a carbon dioxide supply, circulation fans, digital light timers and more. The unit was built by Contain A Grow, the indoor horticulture company acquired by Vertigo last year.
“Interest in these self-contained horticulture containers is very robust; particularly in those states where medical and recreational cannabis is legal,” said NTRR CEO Chris Brown. “Contain A Grow products can be built to order and are a terrific solution to the scalability problem faced by many indoor growers across the country.
“Best of all, they’re portable, too,” he added.
Fabricated from common shipping containers, the all-in-one Contained Agriculture Controlled Environment System provides a closed, controlled environment that can be used to produce any number of climate-controlled indoor crops. Each unit includes Surface to Air Solutions’ non-toxic, antimicrobial surface treatments, reducing cultivators’ need for harsh cleansers and pesticides.
NTRR formed a joint venture with Vertigo last year to help market and develop revolutionary indoor growing products just as the U.S. cannabis industry began to reach a tipping point. Through that joint venture, NTRR will participate in profits earned by Contain A Grow.
NTRR and Vertigo are already lining up new buyers for their horticultural technology.
