Item 8.01 Other EventsOn December 17, 2014, the Board of Directors of Medbox, Inc. (the “Company”) appointed Ambassador Ned L. Siegel (Ret.), a director of the Company, as Chairman of the Company’s Board of Directors. The Company issued a press release, which is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1, announcing the appointment.

Following Ambassador Siegel’s appointment, Guy Marsala, the Company’s Chief Executive Officer and previous Chairman, will continue to serve on the Company’s board of directors.
