Hemp, Inc. Releases Video Update on Its Decortication Plant in Spring Hope, NC

Hemp, Inc. (HEMP) is pleased to release June’s video update, for shareholders, on the progress of its decortication facility in Spring Hope, North Carolina.  The video update can be seen onwww.HempIncPresents.com.  David Schmitt, COO of Hemp, Inc.’s subsidiary, Industrial Hemp Manufacturing, LLC says the company is on schedule for getting the decortication plant operational.

As shown on the latest video, the installation of the conduit has been completed in order to install the new transformer.  The transformer is needed to get the 3-phase power that is required of the decortication plant.  The video also shows the shareholders exactly where the conduit and transformer are located and the 8-foot deep hole that was dug to hold the conduit.  As explained in the video update, the transformer sets over the top of the conduits.  The conduits go into the building and connect to the new switch gear and then connects to the Temafa control panels.

“We have a team of skilled workers helping to keep things on schedule.  One of our top priorities in our development efforts is to ensure our shareholders understand each step of the plant’s progress in relation to what the end result will yield.  Our American hemp farmers will have an industrial, commercial processing facility for their crops, thereby creating economic stability and sustainable resources.  It’s exciting to see history in the making,” said Bruce Perlowin, CEO of Hemp, Inc. (HEMP).

Schmitt said, “We are ensuring we cross every ‘t’ and dot every ‘I’.  Our decortication plant will make a huge difference in North Carolina, and we couldn’t be more excited about the fact that North Carolina is beginning to see change in its laws on hemp.”  Schmitt continued saying, “We are video recording every step of the process along the way.”

The video even shows workers pouring the concrete slab into a 12 x 18-ft area that later housed the 100-horse powered air compressor.  The 100-horsepower air compressor will supply compressed air to the decortication line.  Shareholders also get an up close look at the structural breakers.  The “teeth” have been welded and sharpened to its correct size.  Thus far, “all the plumbing is complete and is piped throughout the building and is being attached to the machinery,” says Schmitt.  “Soon, everything will be positioned, wired and anchored to the floor.”

Even though Perlowin has been able to monitor the plant’s progress with the high definition cameras installed in the decortication plant, the CEO will be in North Carolina through the weekend to meet with the crew and get a first-hand look at the progress being made.

“There are only five decorticators of this magnitude in the world and we have one of them.  This decortication equipment is going to make its rightful return to the American hemp landscape.  Our American hemp farmers will have an industrial, commercial processing facility for their crops,” said Perlowin.

“We plan to process the 5,000,000 pounds of kenaf that we currently have on hand.  The 150 acres of kenaf, planted this year, will also be processed at Hemp, Inc.’s decortication plant.”  Hemp, Inc. executives are also excited about their plans to launch Hemp, Inc.’s new CBD product line.

ABOUT HEMP, INC.’S DECORTICATION LINE
Hemp, Inc.’s automated Temafa decortication line, which can be used to process raw hemp and Kenaf for the American farmers, is the only one of its magnitude in North America. The highly coveted decortication line is currently the only commercial, large-scale machine of its kind in North America. According to Perlowin, it would take at least 2 years, minimum, to duplicate the line. Hemp, Inc. and its whole team is committed to the American farmers and plans to continue spearheading a new clean, green American Agricultural and Industrial Revolution based on hemp and hemp products. The decortication and milling plant, is housed in a 70,000 square-foot warehouse (with a 6-inch cement foundation and a refrigerated section).  Temafa, the manufacturer of Hemp, Inc.’s decortication line, is a leader in the global blending solutions industry with more than 120 years of experience in the manufacturing of fibre opening, cleaning and blending systems.

HEMP, INC.’s TRIPLE BOTTOM LINE
Hemp, Inc. (HEMP) seeks to benefit many constituencies from a “Cultural Creative” perspective thereby not exploiting or endangering any group. CEO of Hemp, Inc. (HEMP), Bruce Perlowin, is positioning the company as a leader in the industrial hemp industry, with a social and environmental mission at its core. Thus, the publicly-traded company believes in “upstreaming” of a portion of profit from the marketing of their finished hemp goods back to its originator, in which most cases will one day be the American farmer, cultivating natural, sustainable products as an interwoven piece of nature. By Hemp, Inc. focusing on comprehensive investment results—that is, with respect to performance along the interrelated dimensions of people, planet, and profits—our triple bottom line approach can be an important tool to support sustainability goal.
