When disaster strikes, marijuana dealer is usually the last person a community would think of to come to save the day.
Yet, when a massive tornado ripped through central Illinois this past week and caused a lot o damage to many homes, the proprietor of the medical marijuana company came in to offer assistance, paying to house all the victims in a close by hotel.
In reference to a report in the Chicago Tribune, Tim Mcgraw, CEO of Revolution Enterprises (not a publicly traded marijuana stock) a medical marijuana business licensed to grow in the small but impactful town of Delavan funded all of the people left without homes due to the tornado to stay in hotels until their living arrangements are worked out efficiently.
Liz Skinner, the town’s mayor, stated that a minimum of nine homes were annihilated and over a millions dollars worth of damages has been added up.
The not quite done, 75,000 square foot growing center owned by Revolution Enterprises was lucky enough to not to go through the horrible tornado that struck this past Thursday a stroke of luck that eventually prevented the company for feeling any of the stress of starting all over again.
It was for this reason when company heads caught wind that the families are now homeless from the tornado as quick as they could they came up with the money from their personal savings to pay for everyone to stay in a hotel
