While enjoying the festivities of 420, Vancouver Canada is doing it in style.

Not only will Downtown Vancouver be high in spirits this merry 420, but many marijuana enthusiasts come together at the Vancouver Art Gallery for an amazing 420 celebration on Canada’s War on Drugs.

The staff who are planning this artsy event are preparing to see a record high of people who will be attending in droves of up to 20 to 30 thousand. Vancouver’s 420 festivities have been the mecca to the world’s only open-air cannabis farmer’s market where you can find local law enforcement helping activists close off roads while cannabis distributors gear up with more than 200 booths. People attending can purchase a wide range of marijuana products for medical and recreational reasons.

The live entertainment that will be delivered this year will be hosted on 2 stages with speeches from marijuana activists such as  Dana Larsen, Jodie Emery, John Conroy and many other strong cannabis supporters. There will even be live bands and DJs.

Today will be the day the true Prince of Pot, Marc Emery, returns. He has just completed a 5 year sentence for distributing cannabis seeds and using the revenue generated to help fund the legalization activism in Canada and around the globe. “Four-Twenty is going to be bigger than ever this year with the return of Marc Emery and the growing interest in reforming North America’s marijuana laws,” event organizer Jeremiah Vandermeer stated, “We all been working closely with city officials and police to close roads and ensure a safe and peaceful event.”
