Whoopi Goldberg Will Launching a Brand of Marijuana Produtcs

Whoopi Goldberg announced on Wednesday that she has joined Maya Elisabeth of the all-female collective Om Edibles to launch a new medical marijuana company, which will offer a line of products designed to provide relief for menstrual cramps.

According to Vanity Fair, The View co-host wanted to create “a product for women that was discreet, provided relief and wouldn’t leave you glued to the couch.” The brand, Whoopi & Maya, will offer edibles, tinctures, topical rubs and THC-infused bath soaks, in addition to CBD-only products.

“For me, I feel like if you don’t want to get ‘high high,’ this is a product specifically just to get rid of discomfort,” Goldberg explained.

“Smoking a joint is fine, but most people can’t smoke a joint and go to work.” “This, you can put it in your purse,” she continued.
