NTRR Partner S2O2 Hires Executive to Drive Testing Market in Colorado
Only a day after opening a new branch office in Denver, Neutra Corp. (NTRR) joint venture partner Surface to Air Solutions (S2O2) today announces it has hired a new product manager to run it. Ryan Johnson will be the joint venture’s executive in charge of carrying out its cannabis initiatives in Colorado, the state on the cutting edge of the global cannabis industry.
Mr. Johnson will bring eight years of experience in the implementation of antimicrobial solutions, having worked previously with high-profile clients including the U.S. Department of Defense. His first task at the new Denver office will be finalizing new product-testing agreements that will allow NTRR and S2O2 to demonstrate the efficacy of their non-toxic, antimicrobial coatings in the germ-, pest- and microbe-free cultivation of medical-grade cannabis.
“Our product suite has the potential to eliminate pesticides and other harsh chemicals and cleansers from the cannabis production cycle, and we’re confident that Ryan is the right man to demonstrate their amazing potential,” said NTRR CEO Chris Brown. “He has the contacts and expertise that we need to become the industry standard in this booming sector.”
NTRR and its joint venture partner are making a big push to demonstrate the efficacy of S2O2’s antimicrobial products in eliminating germs and odors from cannabis farming, refining and retail businesses. When applied to surfaces, S2O2’s photocatalyst treatments form an invisible, long-lasting coating that actively protects surfaces from the build-up of organic matter—including bacteria, molds, germs and allergens—without the use of harsh chemicals. The revolutionary product is already being tested at growing facilities in Canada and California.
Once the Colorado product testing deals are finalized, the joint venture will also test two other S2O2 products in facilities there: Nano Gro—a colloidal emulsion that accelerates plants’ photosynthesis process, increases their production of sugar and protects them against bacteria, pests and mildew—as well as a hydroxyl generator to improve air quality.
The outreach to farmers this week is only the next step in NTRR’s plan to bring enticing new innovations to a multi-billion-dollar cannabis industry that was the fastest-growing sector of the U.S. economy last year.
