To our shareholders:
2015 was a historic year for the North American cannabis industry. The U.S. Congress quietly ended the federal ban on medical cannabis. Canada elected a new prime minister who pledged to legalize the plant. New studies proved cannabis’ effectiveness in treating a variety of illnesses, and these were just the highlights. By any estimation, the cannabis industry is riding unprecedented momentum.
2016 will be even bigger. As the world’s cannabis market grows exponentially, it is constantly in need of better technologies and products to help citizens become more efficient in how they grow, what they grow, and how they consume cannabis and its ancillary products. From lighting to dosage devices and from pesticide replacements to plant enhancers, NTRR will spend the new year constantly combing the industry for the latest and greatest to test, prove and bring to market.
2015 was a successful year of research and development for Neutra Corp. Despite steep challenges in keeping up with rapidly advancing technologies in drug delivery space, we moved the Diamond Anvil vapor pen closer to launch. The groundbreaking, versatile device is planned for release as soon as we are completely satisfied it is of the highest technological standard and performs accordingly.
Our joint venture partner, Surface to Air Solutions (S2O2), rolled out its horticultural product lineup into the booming Colorado medical cannabis market and completed a successful case study for two of its products – an antimicrobial hard surface treatment and an air-purifying hydroxyl generator – with one of the most respected growers in the state. As we continue to work with Surface to Air Solutions to market this product suite, we are undertaking new case studies in different growing environments to test a novel Plant Enhancer in trials. Currently, we are assisting with active case studies in Colorado, California and Canada, with other states coming on board shortly.
NTRR signed a joint venture agreement with Green Mountain Plant Health, LLC, making that company the service and testing arm for the product suite. This will free up S202 to continue to source out the most efficient, applicable products for the growing industry.
Our business ventures outside the cannabis industry have been successful, as well. Zero-Blast completed a successful case study on its advanced, anti-microbial coatings for germ-infested environments with one of the nation’s largest private ambulance services. Over the last year, Zero-Blast has added four more NCAA colleges to its client list, as well as numerous other verticals such as police stations, dental offices, daycares, Crossfits, gyms and more. The company also recently added its first NHL customer.
2016 will be a year to build upon these successes. Some analysts are predicting that the U.S. cannabis industry could grow by another six states in the next 12 months. With every successful industry rollout, more and more states are going to seriously consider cannabis initiatives, and we expect several to pass in 2016. To capitalize, we are already working with a new joint venture partner, Oceanview Health Services Ltd., to research and develop formulas for different cannabis infused topical applications. Topicals have huge market potential in the cannabis industry, and we expect to be on the cutting edge of that movement.
NTRR plans to deliver these and more new innovations to market in the new year. We thank you all for your support as our company continues to grow and we look forward to sharing all of our success with you in 2016 and beyond.
