Hemp, Inc. Invites Vendors and Attendees to Holistic Living Expo in Sacramento, CA

Hemp, Inc. (HEMP) will sponsor New Earth Events’ Holistic Living Expo in Sacramento, CA on Sunday, May 24, 2015 and invites those interested in exhibiting or attending to contact Executive Director, Dean Price of New Earth Events. New Earth Events will kick off its Holistic Living Expo with Henry Hemp and the Hempsters family.

Henry Hemp, inspired by the grandfather of hemp (Jack Herer), is a widely known hemp activist who has spent the last seven years “learning, creating, and having fun” on everything hemp. According to www.henryhemp.com, Henry Hemp is on a mission to help “free” the plant and spread the word on the benefits of hemp. Just “Ask Henry Hemp” as he has successfully managed to navigate his way through the old propaganda that once plagued the lay of the land.

People like Henry Hemp, the Hempsters and other advocates continue to explain the difference between hemp and marijuana. First, it is important to note that Hemp, or Industrial Hemp, is cultivated much differently than its cousin, marijuana. In cultivating marijuana, the plants are spaced far apart and the male plants are destroyed to assure that they cannot seed the female plants which would result in undesirable, less potent and less marketable seeded marijuana buds. Hemp, on the other hand, is planted close together as hermaphrodites to maximize production of seed, the main component of hemp foods and supplements.

Marijuana is used solely for its medical and psychoactive aspects. Hemp, on the other hand, often has a low THC content, producing no psychoactive results and can be used to produce a variety of products. Hemp oil, hemp seed, hemp hearts, and hemp protein (such as Hemp, Inc.’s 3-in-1 protein) are all considered “Superfoods” because of their incredibly high nutrient value and nutritional content. For example, the major market for hemp is as a food or supplement, as it is rich in protein and omega essential fatty acids, and it has a high fiber content. But hemp can be used to make durable products that range from clothing and textiles to building materials such as hempcrete. (See the difference between hemp and marijuana and the vast uses of hemphere.)

The Hempsters are a like-minded family devoted to the wondrous benefits of the hemp plant and are “changing the face of American Politics, Policies, and Products.”

The Holistic Living Expo will show the film “Hempsters: Plant the Seed,” starring Woody Harrelson, Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, and a host of farmers, politicians, businessmen, and laypeople searching for the truth on a plant outcast by society.

The expo is expected to draw hundreds of vendors and attendees and is also set to feature Hemp, Inc.’s “The HempZone” as part of Hemp, Inc.’s ongoing market penetration strategy. The interactive HempZone will educate investors and empower entrepreneurs while showcasing products.

To reserve a booth in Hemp, Inc.’s HempZone or attend New Earth Events’ 2015 Holistic Living Expo in Sacramento, California, (Crowne Plaza, formerly Holiday Inn Northeast, 5321 Date Avenue at Madison, Sacramento, CA 95841) contact Dean Price at 831-239-6835 or visitwww.newearthevents.com.

The HempZone, sponsored by Hemp, Inc., will be a permanent feature at all of the upcoming New Earth events. Hemp, Inc. encourages other companies and products to help expand The HempZone and to showcase more products. “This helps us introduce to the world the incredible array of natural products that the industrial hemp plant has to offer… from food to cosmetics to clothing and textiles to hempcrete and other building materials. We invite other vendors to join us,” said Bruce Perlowin, CEO of Hemp, Inc.

HEMP, INC.’s TRIPLE BOTTOM LINE

Hemp, Inc. (HEMP) seeks to benefit many constituencies from a “Cultural Creative” perspective thereby not exploiting or endangering any group. CEO of Hemp, Inc. (HEMP), Bruce Perlowin, is positioning the company as a leader in the industrial hemp industry, with a social and environmental mission at its core. Thus, the publicly-traded company believes in “upstreaming” of a portion of profit from the marketing of their finished hemp goods back to its originator, in which most cases will one day be the American farmer, cultivating natural, sustainable products as an interwoven piece of nature. By Hemp, Inc. focusing on comprehensive investment results—that is, with respect to performance along the interrelated dimensions of people, planet, and profits—our triple bottom line approach can be an important tool to support sustainability goal.
