Hemp, Inc. Receives NuAxon Super Critical CO2 Hemp Extractor at Plant in North Carolina

Hemp, Inc. (OTC PINK: HEMP) executives are pleased to announce that its CO2 Supercritical Extraction equipment has been delivered to its industrial hemp processing plant in Spring Hope, North Carolina. The company purchased the industrial NuAxon Tech CO2 Supercritical extractor from NuAxon BioScience, manufacturer and the producer of the world class, large capacity CO2 Supercritical Extraction equipment, two months ago through a joint venture with Freedom Leaf, Inc. (OTCQB: FRLF), NuAxon’s global exclusive distributor for the cannabis/hemp industry.

The CO2 Supercritical extractor is set to be installed over the next 90 days and ready to process and extract CBD shortly thereafter under the supervision of NuAxon Tech CEO, Jason Edwards. Clifford J Perry, CEO of Freedom Leaf, Inc. added, “We believe that this will be our first of many NuAxon Tech Industrial CO2 Extractors to be sold, installed and operated in the US and globally.”

Freedom Leaf is also supplying 2,000 pounds of EU certified Hemp stock for extraction from its Licensee, Freedom Leaf Iberia, based in Elche, Spain.

Mr. Federico Pando Huerta, CEO of Freedom Leaf Iberia has spent many years researching and working with the finest agricultural researchers, farmers, as well as governmental agencies to insure that our industrial hemp is of the highest quality and meets the legal standards of Spain and qualifies for export.

Freedom Leaf CEO Clifford Perry explained, “We expect to extract approximately 10% or 200 pounds of high quality CBD to divide equally and sell in this joint venture that has the potential to produce a significant amount of revenue for both of our public companies.”

Freedom Leaf USA and Iberia will be expanding their farming capacities in the coming year and will also be continuing their research and development of other rare cannabinols along with producing hemp and seed stock to be cultivated in Spain and sold for export worldwide wherever it is legal.

The large capacity CO2 Supercritical Extraction unit is, according to reps, one of the best quality, most efficient and most reputable, extraction equipment on the market today. Its manufacturer, NuAxon BioScience, has 17 years of experience in extraction process technology which provides a huge advantage for Hemp, Inc. for having the best method of extracting therapeutic compounds from a plant.

According to the NuAxon website, when CO2 is captured and compressed it becomes a lipophilic solvent. It is exceptional and efficient at retrieving the oils and fats from plants, some herbal extractions are as concentrated as 250 to 1.” With proprietary “high flow rate pump” reducing processing time to “as low as 90 minutes per batch”, NuAxon’s CO2 Supercritical Extraction unit can deliver a much higher output than competitive brands.

Generally, the supercritical CO2 method produces a safe, potent end product for its users. By using innovative, technological advances in CO2 extraction, Hemp, Inc. stands to gain a large share of the CBD and industrial hemp market to satisfy end users.

This extractor will also be showcased during the Hemp, Inc. facility tour portion of the monthly Hemp University educational symposiums, making it a perfect place to demonstrate and market the NuAxon Tech CO2 Supercritical high capacity extractors to those interested in purchasing one. “This is the beginning and a part of building the extraction infrastructure for the industrial hemp industry,” said CEO of Hemp, Inc. Bruce Perlowin.

David Schmitt, COO of Hemp, Inc.’s wholly owned subsidiary, Industrial Hemp Manufacturing (IHM), says he and Bruce Perlowin, CEO of Hemp, Inc. (OTC PINK: HEMP) have already started searching for their second and third extraction units that utilize a different technology to gain an even bigger advantage in the marketplace. Schmitt said, “The company has also purchased a pre-fabricated ‘clean room’ building that will go inside of our 70,000 square foot multi-purpose industrial hemp processing facility. The building will house the first of our CBD extraction units. We expect delivery in 4 weeks. This building is superior in that it is even suitable for food grade products.” Again, this is part of creating the extraction infrastructure for the industrial hemp industry and perfect course material for The Hemp University.

Hemp, Inc. will also have its first hemp harvest this fall in North Carolina and in Colorado, which is part of our farming infrastructure for the industrial hemp industry.

Perlowin also updates shareholders on the progress of the company’s decortication facility. To date, according to Perlowin, all of the wiring has been completed on the mill portion of the hemp decorticator. Executives expect to receive the final piece, which is a disconnect switch, that will connect the power to feed the 200-horse power motor on the recently installed grinder. The grinder is what feeds the hammer mill. “We expected the disconnect switch to be shipped last Tuesday. However, it was on backorder with General Electric so it was shipped a week later than we expected. Once that arrives, in 3 or 4 days, we will install it, finish the last of the wiring, and program all the mill components to communicate with each other. We’ll then begin beta testing everything and processing and bagging the 18,000,000+ pounds of Kenaf we have on-site and in storage, into our first two products… LCMs and Spill-Be-Gone.

ABOUT THE “HEMP GROWING, CBD PRODUCING VETERAN VILLAGE KINS COMMUNITIES”
Aligned with Hemp, Inc.’s Triple Bottom Line approach, CEO Bruce Perlowin is exploring the possibilities of developing “Hemp Growing, CBD Producing Veteran Village Kins Communities” in North Carolina, Florida, Kentucky and several other states similar to the 500-acre demonstration community being built in Arizona. He currently has 4,500 acres (and counting) of land north of Kingman, Arizona where he’s building a Veteran Village on 500 of those acres that would consist of 160 lots of 2 1/2 acre parcels for Kins Domains (eco-villages). Each parcel would grow 1 acre of hemp as well as having organic gardens, natural beehives, a pond, a living fence and other elements that make up a Kins Domain.

An additional 100 acres of hemp will be grown in each one of these 500-acre communities which will also include a 100,000 square-foot hemp (CBD) processing facility. The revenue from fifty of those acres is used to support that community. The revenue from the other fifty acres of hemp will be used to purchase 2 additional 500-acre parcels of land, thus keeping up with the needs of a large number of veterans that exist now and in the future.

The eco-friendly “Veteran Village Kins Communities” were inspired by the book series, The Ringing Cedars of Russia (https://www.ringingcedars.com). Perlowin has since found a way to incorporate it into Hemp, Inc.’s strategy of building hemp growing, CBD-producing “communities” or “villages.” The first part of these “Veteran Village Kins Communities” is a “holistic healing and learning center” whose function in each community is obvious by the title. The prototype Veteran Village Kins Community in Arizona is expected to be completed by mid to late 2017.

Perlowin has been personally creating the Arizona “Veteran Village Kins Community” since 2013 as a solution to America’s multifaceted veteran problem. To date, forty-four percent of America’s homeless are veterans. Twelve percent of that group are combat woman veterans with children. Twenty-two veterans commit suicide EVERY DAY. Two million veterans are on food stamps. As for the future, 238,000 veterans are leaving the armed services every year, according to Dannion Brinkley, Chairman of the Twilight Brigrade.

From rehabilitation to job creation, Perlowin says this model presents a comprehensive holistic solution to those individuals that all Americans owe a great debt of gratitude towards the American veterans. Perlowin expects this model to produce very lucrative revenue for Hemp, Inc., the veterans themselves and the local communities these Kins Communities are built near. “The infrastructure for ‘The Hemp Growing, CBD-Producing, Veteran-Village Kins Community,’ which takes time to build, is already in place in Arizona. I’ve been building this infrastructure since 2013 and it can be duplicated for any state,” says Perlowin.
