Future Farm’s Maine Hemp Farms Prepare for October Harvest
Farm Technologies Inc. (the “Company” or “Future Farm”) (CSE: FFT) (OTCQB: FFRMF) is on track to begin harvest operations in mid-October at its hemp farms in Hersey and Amity, Maine. With robust plant health and an enterprise-wide commitment to maintaining the Hersey farm’s organic certification, the Company has purchased new equipment and is in the process of obtaining new drying and curing facilities in anticipation of its inaugural harvest. In addition, three-and-a-half acres of Future Farm’s land in Amity are dedicated to the cultivation of feminized, high-CBD seeds of the Cherry Wine varietal.
“We are proud to report that our Hersey farm is healthy and one of the largest operating hemp farms in Maine; we are also very happy with the potential represented by the feminized seeds we expect to harvest in Amity,” said William Gildea, CEO of Future Farm. “Our team’s focus and commitment to high standards have us on track for our first harvest in mid-October.”
