Skylar shared with her teacher that her dad grows “lots of weed at home,” but it’s not what it sounds like. Dazed and confused, the little girl’s teacher had an awkward conversation with Skylar’s dad regarding this strange revelation. The teacher confronted Skylar’s dad, Dax, by saying, “so Skylar tells me you have a ton of weed at home.” Naturally, Dax was surprised by the accusation and didn’t respond. The teacher then told Dax that Skylar mentioned he was growing it.
When Dax spoke to Skylar regarding the matter, she agreed and went on by saying, “Weed is not good for you because weed is stuff that is grass, but it’s not grass because it’s weed.”
Dax asked Skylar to show him exactly where the weed is kept. Skylar hesitated but then took her dad to the backyard to show him the weeds growing all around their lawn. Skylar was concerned about all the weeds growing in her lawn; her comment to her teacher was so innocently said but so easily misinterpreted.
